The Mastercard SecureCode secures your purchases on the internet

The Mastercard SecureCode is an authentication system that guarantees that you are the holder of the credit card used for internet transactions. Thus, when you shop online, you will be redirected to a new window which will allow you to simply validate your identity, if our systems deem it necessary.

The Jazilek card is equipped with an EMV electronic chip. This chip provides a much higher level of security than that of strip-only cards. In addition, reading the data contained in the credit card is almost impossible to hack. The terminals are able to recognize and reject a counterfeit card. Good news for your purchases!

Phishing Safety Tips

We caution our customers against fake text messages and emails that are sent with fraudulent intent.

"Your credit card has been temporarily blocked" or "You need to update your personal information due to new terms of service" are usually the first lines of emails and text messages that attempt to get your personal data through through phishing.
A link will then direct you to deceptively realistic-looking copies of our original website. On the pages handled, you will then be asked to enter sensitive personal data, such as your access data to your customer area or your mobile phone number.

Often times, phishing emails sent to you also contain attachments. If you open them, they can install malware on your device without your consent, which also intercepts data and passes it on to fraudsters.
Please note that we generally do not ask our customers to open web pages via a link from an email or text message and enter credit card data or access data to your client area.

If you've ever responded to a phishing email or text message, please contact us immediately so that we can take appropriate action to avoid or minimize any potential damage.

How can you protect yourself against phishing?

- The quality of phishing messages sent by SMS or email is better than before. Incorrect grammar and spelling, however, can provide an early indication of a phishing message.

- Phishing messages often claim that you must act quickly, otherwise unpleasant consequences will follow.

Please note: the sender of phishing messages often tries to make you react quickly and therefore without thinking.

- The URL address (address of the Internet page) also often contains spelling errors.

If you are unsure of the authenticity of the email or text message you received, please contact us directly using a serious contact method, such as our telephone service.
