One of Joe Biden’s highest cabinet dates crouched down when talk show host Seth Meyers pointed out a staff member crawling behind her in a live interview.
Home Secretary Deb Haaland looked distracted as he began to crawl around the office mat to keep the man with the camera out of sight during Thursday night’s interview.
However, late-night moderator Seth Meyers quickly found the man and attempted to reassure Haaland and his unhappy staff.
“I’m sorry, secretary. Myers said, “You have a staff member running the entire carpet behind you, and this is the best I’ve ever seen. “
He tried to hide behind the table, then lifted his head and hid behind it.
“Sir, we know you’re behind your desk,” Myers said.

“You have a staff member who completely walks the mat behind you, and this is the best I’ve ever seen,” said Seth Meyers.
Harland performed well with a smile as the man crawled around his knees behind the desk and out of the frame.
“There was a big comedy star on the show and I didn’t expect anyone to be crawling in the background,” Myers said.
An uninvited comedy in a virtualized world during a pandemic, as when a Texan lawyer turned cat with a kitten filter or the wife of a traditional South African leader accidentally invades. Or embarrassing mistakes have become commonplace. Completely naked frame at the Congressional Zoom conference.
Myers jokingly asked if he knew who it was.
Harland replied that it was a good sport, “Yeah, because we don’t have a world in secret, I know who it is.”
Harland was confirmed as the 54th US Home Secretary with 51-40 votes in March.
She is a member of the Laguna Pueblo tribe and was the first Native American Chief Secretary to the Cabinet.
Harland previously chaired the New Mexico Democratic Party from 2015 to 2017 and was a member of the United States House of Representatives in New Mexico’s First Congressional District from 2019 to 2021.
