Bartender Josh Quick from North Italia Restaurant shared recipes for summer cocktails. (see recipes below) Along with the summer solstice, North Italia will be launching an all-day happy hour every Monday from June 21 until September 6. Plus, there will be nine new cocktails on the menu, crafted by North Italia bartenders across the country. 2 dashes of bitter peach
1.2 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 oz of honey and chamomile syrup (see recipe below)
¼ oz elderflower liqueur
¼ oz of Italian appetizer
2 ounces of gin
Fill the shaker with ice cubes and all the ingredients. Shake it well, then pass it in a shot glass. Decorate with a wedge of lemon.
Honey Chamomile Syrup
2 bags of chamomile tea
3 tsp hot water
1 tsp of honey
Infuse the tea bags in hot water for 30 minutes, remove and stir in the honey until completely dissolved. Keep refrigerated.
1 thin wheel of lemon – 1/8e
1 orange half-wheel
1.4 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
1.4 oz of simple syrup
1 ounce of Italian appetizer
1/2 ounce of Vodka
4 ounces of Prosecco
Fill the shaker with ice cubes and all the ingredients except the Prosecco. Shake it quickly, then add the Prosecco and pour into a wine glass.
